Standard Transmission and Gear, a complete
stocking wholesaler of high-performance standard transmission parts, is seeking
a full-time TECH / SALES PERSON who is extremely knowledgeable about high
performance standard transmissions, clutches and associated parts. An
established name in transmissions, differentials, clutches, parts, and service,
Standard Transmission & Gear has been in business for 27 years.
If you are outgoing and knowledgeable about
high performance standard transmissions and muscle cars, and like to deal with
customers, please email us your resume. You must be able to answer technical
questions about products and muscle car combinations.
Responsibilities include:
- Guidance and technical support before, during, and after the sale.
- Proactive selling
- Product marketing help
- Identification of new products by remaining on cutting edge of industry needs
- Customer relations via phone and email support
- Minimal travel to weekend races and industry shows may be required (8-10 per year)
Requirements:
- Confident, self-motivated person that is customer-oriented with outstanding communication skills
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced sales environment
- Must like phone sales
- Reliable transportation
NOTE: This is NOT a typical sales
position. If you do not have a strong knowledge of high performance standard
transmissions you will not be considered for the position, regardless of how
much sales experience you have. This position is for someone who knows high
performance standard transmissions and muscle cars!
